Studentsport
Nobody asked me to do this. I saw a platform letting a great organisation down, outdated, confusing, missing the energy of what Leeuwarden Student Sport actually is. So I redesigned it from scratch, for the international students who just moved to a new city and needed a reason to show up. Six months solo. The client adopted it.

What I tackled
The old site had some problems. Subscriptions were confusing, services weren't clear, and international students had no reason to trust or try it. People felt shy to show up alone, especially to a sport they'd never tried. I tried to fix this by simplifying the subscription flow, making services clearer on the homepage, adding free trial visibility, and using real student photography and testimonials to reduce hesitation. The goal was to make the platform feel welcoming before someone even signs up.
